v-plane is pursuing the new and revolutionary idea of designing a complete airplane from scratch to construction including all intermediate steps as layout, design, calculations, aero dynamics, systems, as well as certification and documentation, totally and exclusively by means of computers, using specialized and dedicated software, all virtual on computer screens, thus the name v-plane.

Almost all design-and development loops are carried out with “soft” means, only after design goals are met and justified hardware is produced, tested and certified.
